Kathakali is a dance form which is very famous for the makeup which is very attractive and catches the eye of the audience. It is one of the forms of classical dance which is very famous in the state of Kerela. It is the dance form which is very popular for the movements of body, dress costumes, music on which characters have to perform and all. Kathakali is known as one of the fine dance form which was originated in 17th centaury in the state which is now a day’s popularly known as Kerela. With the changes in the era, this dance form remains same but took some modern concepts in it like looks which improved than the before, gestures, body postures etc.
Kathakali is a form of dance with roots back to India many centuries ago. It’s a storytelling form of dance made up of actors who use mudras, or hand gestures that convey the dialogue of their individual character, as well as bhava, or using facial expressions to show the internal state of their characters.

Chenda is a percussion instrument made of wood, parchment and leather. A temple instrument found in Kerala. It is an essential accompaniment for the Kathakali dance of Kerala, also used during temple rituals etc.
